Red Rock Fine Art

The artist, Erin Hanson, has been painting fine art and commercial work for 15 years. She started out working for Paintin' Place, a collaboration of artists who created wall-sized murals for casinos and restaurants, including those in the Las Vegas Stratosphere. Erin Hanson graduated from UC Berkeley and then moved to Las Vegas to rock climb and paint the beautiful scenery of Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire. Her affinity for rocks and desert landscape is quite apparent in her work. She is now pursuing her art near Joshua Tree National Park in California.

 

 

Red Rock Canyon

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located just a few miles west of Las Vegas and encompasses 197,000 acres within the Mojave Desert.  Red Rock Canyon is an area of world-wide geologic interest and beauty. There are miles of hiking trails that lead visitors through the multicolored sandstone rocks.
